The Heartland Energy Solutions
Executive Team

Lead by company founder Paul Ramsey, the HES Executive Team took an idea and made it into
a reality. They started with the task of creating the next generation wind turbine, one efficient
enough to operate at wind speeds low enough to be effective and efficient in Mid-America. That
dream produced the Freedom™ line of turbines and the bonus of a new generation turbine
blade which together allow for the efficient production of energy at wind speeds as low as 6
miles per hour - perfect for Mid-America and other low wind speed areas.

Consulting Engineers and Industry Leaders

Throughout the process of designing and manufacturing the Freedom™ Wind Turbines,
Heartland Energy Solutions conferred with a variety of leading engineers and consultants within
the wind industry. The following is a partial listing of those whose ideas and knowledge
contributed to bringing Freedom™ to realization.
